Over 200 people joined YADA and Kingspan for an evening of drinks, street food and networking as part of an ever expanding network of young professionals. This included:
- Kingspan CPD on using insulation for buildings over 18 meters and the relevant routes to compliance relating to fire safety building regulations.
- Complimentary street food for the first 100 that came through the door.
- Yada Networking.
- After party at the Curious Fox opposite PITCH.
Kingspan is a market leading manufacturer of premium and high performance rigid insulation products and insulated systems for building fabric and building services applications. Kingspan takes fire safety seriously and welcomes the opportunity to discuss the topic with young leaders within the architectural and development industry.
PITCH Stratford is the result of a positive and symbiotic relationship between a group of young architects (ZAP Architecture) and a fresh new development company (Red Door Ventures). This was a project born from a shared passion to create something endearing and enjoyable within a dormant building envelope.
A fun enclave in East London, PITCH is part of a larger development to include a 100-capacity state-of-the art trampoline park within the characterful confines of a Victorian theatre (ZAPSpace), a speakeasy basement bar (The Curious Fox), a restaurant, an outdoor covered venue, complete with cinema, street food and bar (PITCH), the new Red Door Ventures offices and ZAP Architecture's new creative studio.
Completed in Summer 2017, ZAPSpace and PITCH opened to great local response, employing over 60 young adults from Newhams 'workplace' job finding initiative for local kids.
