Yada Debates - You're Never Too Young to Change the World
Ben Derbyshire took over from our Founding Patron Jane Duncan as President of the RIBA on September 14th 2017. Yada was invited to host a smaller Yada event at his exclusive inauguration celebrations and party.
We had 100 tickets for the Yada event from 5.45pm-7pm, each of which included FREE ENTRY (ticket price is normally £100) to the official Presidential Inauguration Party that followed from 7pm-12am in the Florence Hall, bringing together the cream of the property and architecture world. The party included food stalls and a complimentary cocktail bar, an exhibition: Celebrating Excellent Black Architects by Simone de Gale and music from Gwyn Jay Allen, Omar Puente, Chris Phillips and Alex Wilson.
The Yada event took the form of a discussion over some drinks on the theme of You’re Never Too Young To Change The World - two young architects and two young property professionals sharing six things with Yada that they’ve each learned about making a difference.
